We discussed an article published by the London based Independent, a print and online newspaper, entitled “Lavender Farmers of Provence Turn Purple with Rage at EU’s Health Rules Warning” by Sylvie Corbet. We questioned the law that spurred the controversy as well as the lawmaker’s motivations and speculated on the potential repercussions for herbalists in the United States as well as world-wide.
