Modern Herbalism

Podcast Show 132: Dr. Bill Rawls – Perspectives on Modern Herbalism

Herbalism is evolving, just like the plants we love. With the modern era’s unprecedented access to information, we’re learning, adapting and changing our approach at an incredible pace. Today. we’re talking with Dr. William (Bill) Rawls, Author of Unlocking Lyme and a specialist in herbal and natural treatment plans for helping people overcome chronic illness, about his perspective on modern herbalism.

Dr. Rawls also focuses on the effect of fresh food versus processed food on human health. The changing field of botanical medicine has cast ripples in many aspects of modern life. Making space in our lives for natural healing is a key component of modern herbalism. As Dr. Rawls says, “Plants don’t grow where they want to grow; they grow where they can grow.”
