Real Herbalism Radio – Show 104
Digestive Health and Microbiome with Yaakov Levine
The microbiome has been a hot topic across our culture over the past couple of years. We’ve all heard about how important probiotics are to creating a healthy digestive system too. The options for an average consumer who wants to support gut health have expanded past yogurt. Fermented favorites from a diversity of cultures are now lining the grocery shelves in most towns. Everything from infused vinegars to pickled vegetables to kimchi to kombucha are much more readily available. How does one use these options and what do they do? Today, we’re talking with Yaakov Levine, Nutritional Health Coach at Natural Grocers, about the intersection of probiotics and the microbiome.
